Charging
A fair and efficient
charging system is a prerequisit of a sustainable transport system. The
Swiss Heavy Vehicle Fee is an example of internalising external costs of
transport. The distance, maximum laden weight and the emission class define the
fee. Two thirds of the revenue is invested for railway projects.

exist.

Technology
Intermodal transport has a
big potential to contribute to a more sustainable transport system. However,
transhipment is still a source of energy and time loss. A new technology for a
quick transhipment is developed by MODALOHR.
