regional government
The Catalonian regional
government (Generalitat de Catalunya) as a partner of the project is also
interested in developing sustainable transport solutions to connect the Spanish
mainland, the Catalonian area with the ports to the other parts of the European
Union. For the Basque and the Catalonian regions, the traffic through the
Pyrennes and their protection

National Railroad Administration
The Swedish National
Railroad Administration 'BANVERKET' as a partner of the project is interested in
a revitalisation of the railways, opening rail infrastructure and thus
contributing to more sustainable transport system.

Swiss
government
The Swiss government is
represented in the project by the Bureau of Transport Studies (Federal office of Spatial
Planning, Transport Coordination) which belongs to the Transport
Ministry. The implementation of the bi-lateral agreement and the Alpine
Protection of the Swiss constitution needs a European appraoch to achieve
sustainable transport system.
