Aims of the conference

The main objective of the conference is to make decision-makers aware of the fact that liberalisation of international rail freight market and opening access to national rail infrastructure is necessary, but far from enough, to attain a more sustainable freight transport.

Who should attend?

The conference is addressed to decision-makers, transport researchers, professionals, representatives of environmental organisations and the transport industry and students to make them aware of the importance to transpose the rail infrastructure package as soon as possible into national legislation and to implement it in reality .
